SUSPACK Activities
The EU Erasmus+ co-funded SusPack project is piloting training where a total of twenty Finnish and Italian consumers can learn about the sustainability of fresh and takeaway food packaging from an environmental, consumer and business perspective.
The SusPack project aims to raise public awareness of the sustainability of fresh produce and takeaway food packaging. The aim of the joint project is to promote the exchange of ideas and transfer of research and useful information on the durability, acceptability, and user experience of packaging between Finland and Italy. What makes the project topical is the change in consumption patterns during the pandemic. Takeaway and food deliveries have increased, and it is likely that this situation will remain in the future.
